April 6
Gudi Padwa & Ugadi, the New Year's Day celebrated in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana states in India. April 13
Kanya Puja that honours the nine forms of Durga - Kumarika, Subhadra, Shambhavi, Chandika, Trimurti, Rohini, Kali, Kalyani and Durga.
April 14
Ram Navmi marks the birthday of Lord Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
April 19
Hanuman Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Sri Hanuman, who is immensely venerated throughout India and Nepal.
Event will begin with a Ugadi/ Gudi pooja followed with Ram aarti and Hanuman Chalisa, a devotional hymn (stotra).
SHTCC will be hosting Chaitra Kanya/Kumari Puja, a festive ritual observed on Maha Ashtami or Navami tithi where young girls are worshipped as the incarnation of Goddess Durga.
