Spokane Hindu Temple invites devoted community members to apply for Committee Membership and actively serve our temple and devotees.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age: Must be 18 years or older.

2. Membership: Must be an active Shakti Fellow of the temple.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Committee Member, you will:

1. Event Management: Lead and manage at least six (6) temple events per year from end to end, including:

   • Creating and sending invitations with the help of temple's designer

   • Sending reminders and announcements

   • Coordinating Bhandara/Prasad with sponsors

   • Recruiting and coordinating volunteers

   • Ensuring smooth execution from Pooja to cleanup

2. Meetings: Attend most committee meetings (currently bi-weekly; frequency may change as needed).

3. Administrative Support: Collaborate with the committee on:

   • Fundraising activities

   • Preparing documents, posters, and other materials

4. Devotee Outreach: Support temple communications and outreach via email, WhatsApp, text, and phone, as needed.
